Lectures by the Idiot is a performance/lecture based on articulating processes of thinking in a performative context. It is an exposure of private and unnecessary processes of thinking. It let us explore the process of thinking in a physical and poetic way.
Previously, we were thinking about movement, and through exploring that notion we unfold our proposal. We develop the structure of such a process by the combination of different media, fundamentally text/voices, sound, and dance. From the particularity and the interaction of each of the different media, we articulate a multiple and disperse cluster of ideas.
The lecture can be a space to explore personal theoretical fantasies of truth, to develop a commonplace of thinking without much productivity beyond the act of constructing that place. It can be also understood as a place for a particular form of (science) fictional thinking.
